Join MCL Music City Detachment as we grill out at Shutes Branch Recreation Area. There will be food, and drinks. All are welcome to bring family, friends and pets.
The Detachment will be performing a flag retirement ceremony with old flags that have been collected from our community through our flag exchange program. If you have an old and tattered flag please bring it and exchange for a new one while supplies last. We'll show you how to properly retire it.
The ceremony will commence in the afternoon around 2 or 3pm.
Directions:
Pavilion located on Saundersville Ferry Road.
Heading North on Andrew Jackson Parkway.
1. Stay on Saundersville Ferry Road as it splits (going straight) where Andrew Jackson Parkway goes left.
2. Cross bridge and pavilion will be on left.
